How the FTP-300 powers Municipal Wi-Fi
The FTP-300 powers the Wi-Fi access point and the fiber router deployed on a single pole. The solution allows Syokinet to deploy Wi-Fi networks with fiber backhaul anywhere the sun is shining in the time it takes to fasten the required equipment to a pole. Very little planning is required.
Konnekt addresses this by integrating Fuzion Technologies’ backup power and power management systems into every deployment. This ensures continuous uptime during outages, stabilizes voltage to protect equipment, reduces service interruptions during extreme weather, and lowers long-term maintenance costs.

FTP-300 has built-in IoT capabilities including remote monitoring capabilities. The dashboard aggregates data points from connected power units, and presents key performance indicators — like temperature and connection status — in a clear and intuitive way.

Powerful long-lasting battery
FTP-300 can provide up to 60 hours of battery backup to a Wi-Fi access point or be deployed with less battery capacity to minimize cost of batteries. The battery cells may last for up to 10 years.

Deploy and forget
FTP-300 is designed to work in harsh and remote locations. To conserve battery longevity, FTP-300 turns off when power levels become too low to sustain further usage. When the charge level is back above the threshold, FTP-300 automatically turns on again. No human intervention required.
